Warranty Coverage
EleksMaker ("we", "our", or "us") warrants that your EleksCava device will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of your original purchase ("Warranty Period").
This warranty covers the hardware components of the EleksCava device, specifically:
- Main circuit board
- E-Ink display
- Other electronic components included in the original packaging
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover:
- Software issues that can be fixed with firmware updates
- Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, improper handling or installation
- Damage caused by operating the device outside the permitted or intended uses described by EleksMaker
- Damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not an authorized representative of EleksMaker
- Damage caused by natural disasters, power surges, or other external causes beyond our control
- Cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, and broken plastic
- Products where the serial number has been removed, altered, or defaced
- Normal wear and tear
- Consumable parts, such as batteries, unless damage has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship
How to Obtain Warranty Service
To obtain warranty service, please follow these steps:
- Contact Customer Support: Email our customer support team at [email protected] with the subject line "Warranty Claim - EleksCava". Please include your order number, date of purchase, and a detailed description of the issue you are experiencing.
- Troubleshooting: Our support team may provide troubleshooting steps to attempt to resolve the issue remotely. Please follow these instructions carefully.
- Return Authorization: If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, our support team will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions.
- Shipping: Package your device securely, including the RMA number on the outside of the package, and ship it to the address provided in the return instructions. We recommend using a trackable shipping method.
- Repair or Replacement: Upon receipt of your device, we will examine it and either repair or replace it at our discretion. We will then return the repaired or replacement device to you.
Note: For warranty service, you will need to provide proof of purchase. Please keep your receipt or order confirmation email.
Shipping Costs
If your EleksCava device is found to have a defect covered by this warranty, we will cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replacement device back to you. However, you are responsible for the cost of shipping the device to us for warranty service.
If we determine that the issue with your device is not covered by this warranty, we will inform you of the cost of repair (if applicable) and return shipping before proceeding. You will have the option to either approve the repair at your expense or have the device returned to you unrepaired (shipping costs will apply).
Warranty on Repaired or Replaced Devices
A repaired or replacement device will be covered by this warranty for the remainder of the original Warranty Period or ninety (90) days from the date of shipment of the repaired or replacement device, whichever is longer.
Limitation of Liability
THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED ABOVE ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AND OUR ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. OUR LIABILITY SHALL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE DEFECTIVE DEVICE, NOR SHALL WE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR LOSSES, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT.
SOME STATES OR JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
Your Rights and This Warranty
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state or country to country. Except as permitted by law, EleksMaker does not exclude, limit or suspend other rights you may have. For a full understanding of your rights, you should consult the laws of your country, province, or state.
